i found out that turbo does have some problems when i used it this year. Still i love turbo, hope it will get better.

Turbo Tax is no longer King.

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 10+ years. However, this product is becoming expensive compared to other alternatives. I don't like Turbo Taxes charges for each state return filing separately. I would rather pay a little more for state return with unlimited state files. There is no way it should cost $25 per state filing when so many other services do not charge for this. Turbo Tax is a great product, but no longer King and becoming too expensive.

Overall good experience but disappointed with lack of clarity of need to print and mail documents to state when I e-filed through your software. Still confused what documents I need to mail into the state for this e-filing.

Fix stock trade entries.

Good except for having to manually check each stock trade and check "no changes" - 3 pages worth and 20 entries each page. Ridiculous!!!

Was initially confused by Consolidated fund forms

I had some issues with a change in the way Vanguard sends their forms. Turbo Tax showed the individual funds as was done in past years, and I did not realize for a while that all I needed was Vanguard's Consolidated form, and that I could just delete all of the individual fund forms.

Turbo Tax is sufficent, but sometimes aggravating

I've been using TT for around 20 years. Every year, I become aggravated once again at having to input information that TT should already know and carry over to the new year's return. For example, when completing my MT state return, TT asks me to input information such as AGI that it should be able to carry forward and populate automatically for me. Rather than the software doing this, I have to pull out last year's returns and populate information manually. This happens with a number of different pieces of information; not just AGI. Fix this!

Glitches Galore

When uploading all of my official tax documents (which is quite helpful) -- many numbers were incorrect, and multiple fields were left blank that were NOT blank on the official forms. Additionally, my AGI (line 11) was uploaded as over 1 million dollars. (1,159,000). Evidently, in translation, the 11, from "Line 11" was superimposed in my AGI field. This is an inconceivable error that could have caused me massive grief and trouble had I not caught it. The upload feature would be nice if it wasn't such a risk with all of the errors and information that was misplaced during the upload/translation.
