15 years with Turbo Tax

It would be much faster and easier for me if our Railroad Retirement 1099 and 1099-R were able to be imported. Otherwise, we spend quite a bit of time imputing the information on the correct areas. We've used Turbo Tax for years and have been very satisfied with your product. Also, on charitable contributions, the Intuit program works fine, but there needs to be either a misc. or other category for items not found in the existing program.

Issues with turbotax

I had a terrible time entering RMD amount for an IRA that did not generate an 1099R. The turbotax expert who helped me found that her solution worked on the web but not on my desk top. Took a lot of time to enter it and we still aren't sure if the IRS will like the solution.
Having to enter last year's AGI was not a problem but a bit confusing when Turbotax wanted the amount my husband entered and the amount I entered. The AGI for filing MJ is the same so why ask the question twice?

Won't let you e-file without filing state taxes and I live in a state that doesn't have state income tax!!! And it wants to charge you for a state download when again there is NO STATE INCOME TAX!!! Absolutely ludicrous!

Nice Product

Pleased with the product; although sometimes the instructions are not clear. For example, TurboTax was not generating 1040-ES forms, but I had no idea why. They had been generated in past years and we most definitely needed to pay estimated taxes as we received a penalty.
