Turbotax walks you through entering all information so very easy to use. Only issue is that if you have minimal miscellaneous income with 1099-misc or 1099-NEC, Turbot does not tell you on the deluxe version where to go to enter business codes.

Get ready to have upsells being thrown at you

First I had to upgrade my product because of one of my tax situations. It is hard to figure out which version to use and that is by design. Then I was charged to file my state return even though I supposedly bought a version with both federal and state e-file.

Turbo Tax to the rescue.

Due to a complicated merger transaction, our return was not normal. Our expert Turbo Tax agent worked very hard to get our return completed and accurate, getting us the maximum refund for 2024. Cynthia was very patient with two older clients who were not very savvy working with the computer. We would not have been able to complete the filing without her.
