Easiest way to do your taxes. Excellent software covers most all of the issues and even looks for those specific issues that get us all confused (or at least wondering).

Same information is not saved across different sections. Additionally, filing fees, upcharges, and solicited services are getting a bit out of hand.

User interface is getting worse.

Clunky user interface. Somebody changed it to make it "easier" and made it worse. I also want to download and do it on my computer. It's very difficult to figure out how to do that. You force people into doing it online and make it very hard to find the links to get the download. That's very inconsiderate of your customers.

Trust worthy Tax Software

The new format having the int, div and Sch D somewhat combined was a bit confusing even though they were in alphabetical order. If I chose to import, I wound up with duplicates. Then, I learned I did not have to import. Much easier for me. Overall, I do like and trust TurboTax and have used it for many years

More complex each year. Difficult to find how to print state taxes after e-filing federal tax return. Having to come up with a new unique nickname is crazy

Changes for 2025 Confusing and Time-Consuming

I have never been so disappointed with the revisions in product which I have used for many years. The process to manually enter interest and dividends was cumbersome and time-consuming. Also, I found that many of the icons and highlights provided to click on were non-responsive. When I finally got to the end of my State return the program sent me in circles time and again trying to persuade me to buy expert advice. What a waste of time--follow the steps and then follow them all over again.
