TurboTax is getting more expensive than it's worth

Ease of use was fine. With a brand new computer and no other programs open, however, the program kept locking up or crashing. The amount of times I had to close and reopen just to complete my taxes. It also filled out a few categories wrong as I went along, so be careful on what it autofills for you. I just think for the price they charge, I shouldn't have to be dealing with all the crashes and data being incorrectly entered.

Easy to use but imports can be frustrating.

Importing data from last year's return should be easier. I am not even certain of how I was able to do it. I was not able to import last year's Georgia tax credit carryover. Turbotax was looking for a .txt file but the 2023 return was in a .tax format.

Used but semi disappointed with this years updates

I have used Turbo Tax for more than 10 years and this year the ease of use was not there. Very confusing to fix. for example, as soon as I signed in and said I had 1 state it defaulted to Washington State which does not have an income tax. To this date it still comes up first . I had to buy a second state to br able to file the state I needed. The choice windows from previous year is gone. It needs fixing. Manyn things did not carry over from previous year for Fed and State. And others that have used this switched to H&R online because it was easier to navigate and it cost less.

Turbo Tax has change and not for the better

I have use Turbo Tax for years. This year was different and I don't consider it better. I think people get use to the questions and the graphic after years of use, unless it is noticeably better why change. It is not better!

It's great to work with. I still want the CD for my records.
Possible improvements: Entering rental expenses is easy, getting out of them midway is a hassle as it wipes out the entry unless you go to the end.
