What Did You Change

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and have had no trouble with it. I don't know what you changed this year, but trying to put my dividend information in this year was difficult. And for the first time when I was finished I had to go back and fill in information that was missing. Information I was never asked for while I was filling out the forms. Not happy this year.

Needed help with state return

Have used Turbo Tax for years. I did for the first time have an issue with e-filing my state return. I called and spoke to Fletcher. He logged on to my screen and was able to solve the issue. Both returns were e filed. Thank you Fletcher!!

Not everyone wants everything done automatically.

The automatic downloading of tax documents was confusing and annoying. It appeared that automatic download was the default, and how to change to manual entry was time consuming and cumbersome. Suggest that you ask first how I want to enter my data: manual, automatic or both. Then direct me to the sections that allow me to do this.

Small error in program

I encountered one hiccup entering data for charitable donations. I entered data for one organization, and then a second organization. I then tried to go back into the first organization to edit, but TurboTax kept sending me to the second organization. I saved everything, exited TurboTax and then went back in to see if that corrected the problem. It did not. I had to go in and delete the first organization and re-enter the data to get it corrected.
