Disappointed this year

I've used Turbotax for many years and have been happy with it.
I downloaded the desktop version because I find the online version very irritating (e.g. hard to review the actual forms, etc). On the desktop version, the help feature was almost completely useless this year. It did not successfully find most search terms I entered (e.g. forms) even though this worked well in previous years.
I also had a problem with Turbotax giving me completely unbelievable numbers for refunds until I deleted all my imported docs and then reimported them all a second time. At that point, everything looked fine.
There was also a problem where I signed up through a partner deal to get federal and state filing for free but the desktop version charged me a state filing fee and I had to fight for a refund. I'm pretty annoyed.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

As user-unfriendly as usual. Would not enter imported Schwab data until I already started doing it manually. Subsequently, found 2 of the same entries, and had to delete one.

Turbo Tax is the answer

I use Turbo Tax every year. This year as always I had trouble with vehicle mileage. You need to include vehicles in the rental questions in stead of 20 Faults at the end. I spoke to 2 of your agents and they were both kind and very help full. Thank you, Paul

We have used TurboTax for years and this is the worst experience we have ever had with it! The pages are not easy to access or, to return to a page to edit or review is practically impossible! There are no instructions that make sense! I'm not sure we will go this route ever again!
