Software and guidance are reliable

Very user friendly software. After many years of use, I have found the software and guidance it provides reliable, and that is why I continue to use it. In addition the e-file option makes dealing with the submittal of the forms a breeze.

TurboTax 2024 Issues

I am not at all impressed with the 'now look' of TurboTax 2024.
1. There is some sort of repetitious loop when inputting my 1099-INT documents. This happens when I choose to not import the information.
2. The "Received from" field is far too narrow to include meaningful information about a specific tax document. This requires scrolling to see the right part of the information.
3. The program window is adjustable in size, but the text and fields do not change in size. I see only two font sizes; 100 and 90 percent. The larger font should be much bigger. The small font is useless.

I like TT, but there are probs.

I have used Turbo Tax many years. I like the self guided aspect of it. In all previous years, I bought a CD version and had no upload problems. This year I downloaded the program. The down load went smoothly. However, several times when I got to the update procedure, the program had a problem and stopped working. I had to go to the website to manually download the updates. While that was an unexpected step, the manual upgrade worked and I had no further problems.

Except for a two year window when I paid to have my tax return prepared by an accounting firm, I have used TurboTax to prepare and file my annual tax returns.
