There are screens that show summary numbers but not how they are calculated or a link to a worksheet that would explain. I can not reproduce the summary numbers (eg Capital Gains) even though the underlying data is correct.
Make the fundamental tax principles more clear. The language if vague and not instructive. For example, estimated taxes are due quarterly even if the income will be incurred in a single quarter (eg Q3 or Q4)..

One Little Glitch This Year

When I uploaded my investment data and tied it to my 1099B, I was missing visibility to about 20 transactions. However, the net investment gain was listed correctly so I concluded that the data was in there, but I didn't have visibility to the last page of my 1099B.

I love Turbo Tax. Makes tax prep easy. I have one complaint. I was charged $20 for my state filing. I thought I got 1 free state filing with my Turbo Tax fee?
