I love Turbo Tax

I had some difficulty with the HSA info. I'm on MC but my spouse is not but we are both covered under the same med. insurance program ( I'm not on Part B). I do not have HSA and my spouse does and contributes as single to the max allowed for her age group. we are covered for family med ins abut the Turbotax terminologies do match our conventional understanding of family coverage. Could the questions in TT be clarified for correct input for the calculation on HSA on form 8889?

Another good year for TurboTax

Everything went smoothly. Have used TurboTax Premier for decades. Did not run into any problems. I would like the option to just choose standard deduction. I use Premier because of investments.

Adequate but not Great

Turbotax is adequate but not without it's frustration. I get hung up year after year with the same glitch. They want to classify a 1099-MISC as a Business but it is not. It takes me forever to do a work around. It has been questioned by others online but the answer is inadequate. A small but annoying problem.
Also, I feel the attention to detail at the State level is inadequate. They do not give examples or information to show what to do. They are just copying the state forms. Have to go to the state publications to get info.
