Sucky tax software

Clunky at best, and seems so outdated considering what you pay for. And having to so many built in adds to buy this, and buy that, what am I paying for with this outdated software. And none of my information imports well, and why do I have to enter in my name and address so many times, even for payments. I don't want you to save by payment information but you could at least ask if I wanted to use the same name and address.

Turbo Tax is still probably the best choice.

Use to be Awesome, but last few years questionable

I've been a TurboTax user for over 12 years and it seems to be getting less user friendly to complete my simple taxes containing just income, pension and energy improvements. The help feature is pretty much useless as it really doesn't help with the specific area that help is needed. Why do I have to sign-in to get help? I'm not seeing the benefit of the auto renewal as well since I can find the same product elsewhere for about 10.00 less which would cover 1/2 of the 20.00 state filing fee. Thinking about moving on. Confidence in my return is about 60/40. Audit guard services promoted as free, but not really free.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 5 years and have found it to be extrememly easy to use. It has saved me thousands of dollars compared to having my return prepard by an independent tax counsel. This year I had a somewhat usual transaction to deal with and found your tax professionals very helpful dealing with this issue. I plan on using Turbo Tax in the future!
