Trust Turbotax for Accuracy

Overall experience was good. Encountered some new topics this year that took extra time. Always struggle with the local tax form. This year the download for interest and dividends did not seem to operate smoothly and took extra time. Like having to clear out 0.00 amounts on the 1099 lines.

TurboTax Premier is an Excellent Program

This is an excellent program. It walked me through every step of the process and answered all my questions. The one issue, involving 1099-Div and 1099-R, under your incident number 1545257698, was handled quickly and efficiently by your technician Casey. I can't say enough about her. You should clone her and have her answer every query. Personable, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate are a few words I use to describe her.
A packaging issue you should improve: Mark clearly the difference between DESKTOP and ONLINE programs. I could find nothing about the difference.

Things to Review for TurboTax

Some federal information questions/areas need better instruction. The Idaho return needs a careful review to ensure info is being entered on the correct lines. As an example, long-term care insurance does not get entered on the correct line in the worksheet and therefore does not get entered on the actual form correctly. The health insurance paid does, but not the long term care.

The change to entering interest and dividends from 2023 to 2024 made it more cumbersome to manually enter the amounts, etc.
