Turbo Tax just blew a big hole in customer service

There was no advance warning to prior users (of many years) About the format changes. Nobody likes surprises, especially at tax time. I'm sure the programming works just fine. However, The last thing I want to do is learn another new way to do things when the time horizon is so short.

Turbo Tax Empowers Me

This is my 3rd year using Turbo Tax to work & file my taxes. I have all my prior returns to refer to, and the software shows me year over year my earnings, deductions, taxes, etc. The metrics are great!
With the interfaces with financial institutions, great online explanations, and online resources, I feel confident and empowered to do my taxes!

Turbo Tax: Basic to complex tax issues

Have used the product for years. I suggest that people begin to use turbo tax when their return is basic and not complex. Then as their tax issues become more complex, they just are adding on those new issues and are familiar with the process when their taxes were more basic. You learn and are guided by the program each year.

Setup process is very confusing especially when requesting passwords. Not sure I trust some of the understanding of tax laws especially as it pertains to multiple IRAs with RMDs. Lots of community confusion, I think a trusting user could have been unnecessary penalities.

Dividend Entry is Lame and Confusing

The way dividends are entered is awkward and counter intuitive. The older software was much simpler.
The software asks too many questions.
Why can't I just file my taxes for free? Intuit is just taking advantage of taxpayers to sell unnecessary software.
