Turbo Tax is always the best tool for my taxes. I can't wait until AI is incorporated to catch all my mistakes.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Still pretty easy to use with some hiccups

Overall was pretty good, but seemed like it took more time than usual to validate entries that were automatically transferred from institutions. Also stock RSUs required me to adjust the cost basis once and then confirm it again, which was confusing. Overall decent product, but could be streamlined

I used the AI function, and it was helpful. When I would click on a link for more information there would just be a white screen. It may have been my ridiculous computer rather than your program.

A great product

In general, I think TurboTax is a great product. It gets better, covering more things every year. I like that you handle electronic payments now. A couple of ideas for improvement: 1) This year it was a bit confusing to get to the page for typing in the data instead of downloading. 2) Fed tax free interest that is state taxable is a bit confusing. I ended up reporting state taxable interest as from Alabama. What I really know is how much is taxable by California. 3) Review underpayment penalty calculations. Last year it said I owed penalties so I paid them, and both CA and IRS refunded them. This year it said I owed CA penalty at first, then later no (maybe fixed in an update?).

Mistakes on the K-1 In step by step, you could not split your refund to a bank and the rest to be applied to 2026
Pros: I bought or sold investments
