Bank Import Issues

I have used TX for many years. This year was rough. The app failed several times. Had to reinstall. Many issues with importing bank and broker statements. Used help line, not helpful. ChatGBT did a better job in a couple of minutes versus 30 minutes on a call with a human. Human seemed lost.
The QA seems to have suffered this year. Two days of effort to complete, usually two hours.

The e-filing is great. The import function, I use BRAVE which did not work. Had to use Chrome :>(.
Also, my vpn was on, PIA. When clicking on the import button, a browser webpage and said it completed, but no data in TX. Had to cut and paste into Chrome. Maybe be specific on which browser to use.

It was easy to walk through filing taxes with Turbo Tax. I would have liked an easier way to review at the end but otherwise fairly easy.

TurboTax Good but can be better

Somewhat cumbersome to fill out foreign income/foreign taxes paid when more than 1 country(AZ return); could be clearer in using "update" during data entry. Also, didn't always link automatically to worksheets that needed additional data. I found those out only during the error checking process.

Turbotax printing and saving issues

I had problems with saving and printing my returns. The agent opened a ticket (CASE #1545823255) on 3/5/25. She provided a workaround to save my returns as PDF file. However I still could not print Form 1040V for mailing my returns. Please email me solution ASAP,

turbo tax is not awesome

I do not like the new format. The importing of data was complex, not accurate and appeared to import data more than once. There was no way to look at the individual categories.

Turbo Tax provides confidence to file returns

Great software for doing taxes. This was the first year I used live experts to help with answering questions. It was helpful, but perhaps some of the experts could be more knowledgeable about specific states, or maybe it would be a good idea to ask customers whether they need help with federal or state return, and if state return, match customer with specialists that are more experienced with a given state.

Which Tax Table is Being Used???

Generally I like TurboTax Premier but there are certain elements of it that could be improved in my opinion.
It keeps making me review the section where I enter my 1095-A info because I went on Medicare during the year and doesn't like the 0s entered for those months. It's a little irritating to have to continually review that section.
I just talked with an agent (Thomas Robinson) who was very friendly/helpful and I have also been impressed with the other agents to whom I have spoken.
I would like to have a copy of the tax table used to calculate my tax amount from my taxable income to feel more comfortable with the amount of tax. At least I would like to know which tax table is being used in case I get audited.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
