I felt taken advantage of when I had to pay and extra $40. Not sure but I think MN would have allowed me to skip it but I wasn't advised of that until after I had agreed to pay it. I had trouble with a few of the forms but unfortunately I didn't write my issues down so I'm no help to you.

More glitches than ever before

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. This is the first year it had so many glitches. I kept getting "hit a snag" for my state return on questions that weren't asked. I would have to go to the forms to click a box to answer the question and then return to step by step.

Turbo Tax is now a bigger winner with Advice Exper

I had trouble with errors in the transfer into Turbo Tax of certain investments that I could not fix.. Rather than having someone else do my taxes, I invested in the Advice Expert from Turbo Tax. She was very calming and made going through “TT” so much easier. She showed me how to correct the errors, and encouraged me to look for any others, which we did together. No more frustration, anxiety, etc. She spent over 2 hours helping me through this, and we had over $ 4000 less in taxes.

Easy to use

It gets easier every year. I've used TurboTax since 2018 and the first few years were getting used to how it asks for data and the easy automated data entry from financial institutions.

Have used Turbo Tax for years. Have never been audited. LOL But I liked having the CD, disappointed that you discontinued it. Some of us older folks are not as technology savvy as you think. Your do everything online culture is not user friendly. I do not like the ideal of having my tax returns in the cloud.
