Pin number was not ask for

It let me file without entering my pin number causing a rejection. I think that should have been resolved before filing

Excellent experience! I had some IRA conversions this year which TTax walked me through with no issues. Saved me a bundle by eliminating the need for a CPA. Thanks TTax.

Still some work to do with multi-state returns

2024 was better to deal with regarding multi state, however, it said that I had to file a NY non-resident return when there was no NY income so my return was zero dollars, nothing owed or nothing to be refunded. I don't know why it prompted this, as I did not file a NY return for 2023. So I wasted $45.
It was also awkward to handle an insurance policy that I cashed in with a 1099-R, it kept referring to it as a Pension distribution and I was not sure things were properly treated as a result, but at least the taxable versus non-taxable portions were properly accounted for.

Frustation!!

State tax return wouldn't update so I couldn't e-file. I spent hours trying to get it to work. So frustrating. I don't want to waste more of my time detailing the problems but it would have been way easier to just print it out and mail the return. Even now I'm not sure that it was sent.

Turbo Tax works as designed

Turbo Tax is easy to use and works as designed if you have your date/records in good order. However there are issues during payment and in some cases there are double pricing -- so one needs to be careful when paying for states or for other services
