Great software, with minor glitches(fixed now)

The software is very easy to use, but was erroring in an odd way. It kept prompting that my name was wrong. That was not the issue. The issue was that TurboTax did not update the state side of the form yet. Other than that glitch, everything went off without a hitch.

Turbo Tax Premier 2024 Easy to Use

Using Turbo Tax Premier continues to be simple for me. It handles all of my tax situations (so far) and I've been able to get all questions answered either within the software itself or by researching on line.

Forms are getting more difficult. Filling is easy But I did not see where my state was filed and I paid Intuit

Your 1099 changes SUCK!!

I have used this TT software for arond 10 years or so and have been geerally happy with it. BUT, 2024 is the end. You have made changes, particularly in the 1099 are and I HATE (NOT TOO STRONG A WORD) WHAT IT NOW IS.

Some Glitches. Could be better.

Had some glitches related to the Foreign Tax credit. That particular process where you have to select country codes is very confusing. TT would not allow me to list several countries and then select one at a time for entering their related income. I had to be satisfied with the one country that gave me the largest benefit and forget entering data for the other country which deprived me of some extra Foreign Tax credit. Even after finishing that part of the return, it gave me a pop up message that said I didn't qualify for the credit which was totally erroneous. It was included on Schedule 3 and on the 1040, Line 20. But it caused over a 30 minute delay for me to figure out that I was indeed receiving it.
