I like Turbo Tax

I like Turbo Tax and I am using it for a few years. The issue I keep on getting is to put info with foreign pension when the form requires a federal Id #, that does not exist for a foreign company. I appreciate if there will be some instruction for this form to resolve this issue.

Filing State return by mail is a joke!

Tries to force you to efile the state return for $25. No clear and easy way to get the program to print instructions page with filing by mail.... Bogus change!!!!!

Fairly easy to use, but still has a few issues with more complex financial conundrums like 1099-R RMD transfers between financial institution transfers and finding things that may or may not appear on actual printed forms, Case in point box 16a on a printed form is blank. in order to avoid an error for 0 value, I had to open forms and fill in what the actual RMD was because the error said the value couldn't be less than the state tax withheld. Go figure.

Easy and cheaper than a CPA.

All was so easy as a second time user, except....instructions say to go to your downloads to export the previous year returns. It took me an hour plus to locate my 2023 returns and transfer to the current year, even with the help of a CPA and IT graduate. Somehow, I don't remember how, I got to a place where I was told to hit a box called downloads and it transferred it to a box called applications. It was a nightmare for me as a tech dummy, but not a tech idiot.
