New screen for entering capital gains and dividends is confusing. Should be able to enter all info on each 1099 without exiting to a new section

2024 TurboTax No Longer My Favorite Software

The 2024 TurboTax software changed the presentation of income sources and was difficult to use; several duplicate entries were created for bank/investment institutions, resulting in more time consuming entry of information. I plan to look for other options when doing my 2025 taxes. That may be the first time I use a different tax preparation software in over 20 years. Disappointing!

Love that TurboTax

Easy to download TurboTax, it checks automatically for updates, easy to preload last years' data for comparison, prompts for all necessary tax statements, forms easy to fill out. Excellent descriptions of terms and conditions, easy to file
