Confusion

I've been a user for years and have loved it but this year getting into inputting 1099 forms was frustrating because the "add another investment" box wasn't intuitive for the casual user.

Will not use Turbo Tax next year

I thought this year’s software was absolutely unbearable to use. There were no helps to show what line needed to be entered, etc. When you pay over $100 for a program, you should at least give some guidance on filling out the form. Ugh — will not use Turbo Tax next year.

Terrible AI help especially with Long-Term Care

I have been using TurboTax desktop for probably over 15 years. This year, when I needed to use the help, the instructions stated to "JUMP TO a LINK"; but your stupid AI would not provide the link. I spent hours trying to circumvent and find the correct form. When I searched further on your help...I read others were having the same difficulty with other subjects when searching the help. What I was trying to access was "Long-Term Care" and there was NO place on your menus to take you to this requirement. Fortunately, I have had some experience with working with CPA firms in tax season and I could muster my way through things. I would advise there is also an link to a live person whenever needed as I could not get my help to get to a chat. I was very disappointed with TurboTax.
