The intuit (turbo tax) company has become sleazy

Your tax software has become childish and uninformative.
Your lack of CD options is disgusting.
Your push for subscriptions is like begging and needy.
Your push for online tax assistances is a gimmicky play for more income.
You have become a sleazy company.

Been using many years now and overall the service has been easy to use and understand, one thing I would like to see differently is the part where if there a correction needed to be made, please be more explicit as to what exactly needs to be corrected.

OK with the simple stuff. Had difficulty with tax free state dividends pulling automatically into the state return correctly. Entered the information by state into the federal dividends section, not handled correctly in the PA state return. Room for improvement, especially as this is not an unusual event...

Not good when working multiple IRA sources RMDs

Very confusing with multiple RMD sources. Very time consuming to eventually figure it out.

Taxes made easy

Overall, the experience was fairly easy. Only issue that I had was trying to delete a form that wasn't needed for this year. Been using Turbo Tax for many, many years and plan to continue using it.

Known issues not addressed before upcharging

They know they have an issue with joint tenancy and Form 5695 that require taxes to be mailed, yet they still encourage you to pay the state e-filing fee before you get your taxes rejected and tell you to file by mail. This deserved a refund but that isn't going to happen
