Problem for Louisiana Retired Teachers Benefits

I discovered a systemic problem with the online version of TurboTax going back to at least 2021. There is no 1099 entry for Louisiana Teachers' Retirement Benefits - Code 03E allowing the retirement income to be tax exempt for Louisiana. Because of this issue, I'm having to file Louisiana amended returns for 2021-2024 using TurboTax desktop software to recover significant overpayments. The TurboTax specialist that worked Case 1543437965 was very helpful in guiding me through the no-cost process of preparing the amended returns for filing but the time to work through this should have never been required. It is very disappointing that a systemic problem like this has persisted for so long and is still not fixed. It is suggested that TurboTax take steps to notify Louisiana retired teachers of this issue.

iT WASN'T CLEAR WHEN PRVIOUS INFORMATION WAS PULLED IN THAT i SHOULD MODIFY LAST YEAR ACCOUNT DOLLAR ENTRIES INSTEAD OF RE ENTERING EVERYTHING. iT IS EASIER TO DO THE MODIFICATION BUT IT JUST WAS NOT CLEAR THAT WAS AN OPTION.

Revised instructions needed for Ohio Use Tax

I believe the instructions for Ohio Use Tax are incorrect. They say "Ohio requires that you pay 6.5 - 8% sales tax on everything you buy." That is not true. Unprepared food (groceries), gift cards, and newspapers are three examples of items which are not taxed. An employee at the Ohio Department of Treasury agreed when I called to inquire.
