Big Disappointment!

TURBOTAX's explanation and treatment of ROTH IRA CONTRIBUTIONS and CONVERSIONS from a traditional IRA leaves a LOT to be desired. This section doesn't even MENTION ROTH conversions. The Q&A portion of this element does not even MENTION Traditional IRA CONVERSIONS to ROTH IRA's. It's implied but that's all. This oversight caused me about four hours of extra work and research, and I'm still not sure I got it right! Disappointing!!!

TurboTax Premier did a very good job overall. I was able to enter rental property income & expenses. Navigation and user interface are a bit clunky and outdated, in my opinion. It is really hard to get back to a specific point after entering some information, such as an income source, so we need better "breadcrumbs". User interface feels quite primitive. Frequent spinning wheels are also somewhat disconcerting. On the positive side, TurboTax did a solid, comprehensive job with data input, processing and filing returns to both Federal and State agencies.

Seems like it was a beta test version.
You should have a developer actually watch a user use your product. So many little things could be improved.
