Very Disappointed

Used to be a fan of Turbo Tax. You have made it too complicated. Got to State tax where I pre paid taxes and spent 2 hours trying to find where to put information. Had to finally Google it. Have become very frustrated and disappointed in the latest version. Why is it online now instead of being saved on my computer. Do not want my information floating on the internet for people to hack.

IF you have a straight forward return it is really easy to do and saved me $700 a year since I started using it.

You have gotten so complex that I will probably need to use a tax accountant, For example .... I have multiple accounts at both Shwab and Fidelity. Imports from each account are all called (Charles Schwab" or Fidelity - with no identification of which account within the firm the upload is for. Its very messy and time consuming to sort it out.
It is difficult to jump from one topic directly to another. SOftware has locked in on a particular to get from point A to point - which requires a lot of backtracking, wasted time and confusion
I've been a using TT for over 10 years and each year it gets more difficult. I am at my breaking point

The new tax laws for Montana for transitioning the same as federal...is very confusing. Needs to be simplified and explained better. But other than this...it's awesome.

Turbo Tax not what it used to be ;(

I have used Turbo Tax since 2014 and this years version was the worst experience. The download was problematic and with no longer getting a CD, meant that i was starting off in the ditch. The area for interest and dividends whats to default to downloading the info from the institutions and makes it buggy and time consuming when you input the information manually. Historically, that has not been a problem, big step backward.
