Marginal at best

I hate that this product is sold way before it is able to import tax forms or download state programs. I also hate that it is so difficult to print forms, and then only prints at the last moment before filing. I also hat tat the online version has the ability to import via photo while the desktop version does not. And the constant dunning for more $. And constant updates that caused my first filing to fail entirely. And then they want to why I didn’t pay extra for their “experts”.

Love my Turbo Tax

This is my 20th year using Turbo Tax. It remains to me the premier tax return software for its ease of use and versatility. The comprehensive coverage of so many tax situations combined with ease of use (step by step) process makes doing taxes a pleasure. Especially when you get a great return.

Worked great as usual except turbo tax program wanted me to file a state return for the state of Washington. Washington does not have have an stater "income tax" So no 5 stars today

Turbo Tax is too buggy for Apple computers

I have loved the Turbo Tax program of prior years, but will not purchase it again because it is not compatible with Apple. I had to restart my imac every time I opened the program to keep it from becoming unresponsive. Now the program will not print or save to a pdf! When I tried to resolve the issue I see that a number of people with Apple computers are having the exact same problem. It is incredibly frustrating to put all of the work required to complete a tax return and have it held hostage by Turbo Tax.
There seems to have been some programming design choices that are worse than previous versions. It is in my opinion ambiguous to show a halo ring and bullseye on the same page of button choices. It also took me a long time to figure out that the confirmation delete for investments was located out of sight at the top of a scroll page. I liked being able to save and download to the computer whenever I took a break. It is very uncomfortable to have an imac clocking its wheel and becoming repeatedly unresponsive and not have access to your work.
