Filing a 1099S was to complacated and confussing..

I've been using Turbo Tax since the late 80's. only once did I have an issue and that was due to an error on my part. see you next year!

Double Taxed NJ Income

Turbotax double counted my NY/NJ income and my taxable income for NJ was 2x what it should have been. None of the "smart checks" caught it and I now have to mail an amendment to NJ and hope they don't withdraw the amount of money that should be a refund instead of a charge.
This would have been avoided if before filing they showed you the full summary they have in the first page of your return instead of only showing what you owe.

Turbo Tax not as good as previous years.

The program for 2024 was not a good as for previous years.
I mailed my state return. The filing instructions were for an e-file return. No address for sending a mailed return. I had to go to the California FTB and get instructions for the 540 form to get instructions for mailing my return. I also encountered problems when imputing expenses on my Schedule E that I did not encounter in previous years. I also, did not like no disc when purchasing the program.
