state e-file made difficult / scam

there is always some kind of scam at the end when trying to e-file and pay state or a scam screen that is difficult to get around when trying to file by mail for free and print state taxes. I've been using product for few years so for a new user it would be very difficult as I find it extremely frustrating year after year.

TurboTax makes processing taxes easy

I have used TurboTax for many years and have found it to be easy, efficient and accurate. By pulling forward the previous year's information, it saves me time and assures me that important information is accurately entered. This is especially important for my rental property information.

TurboTax this year sucks!!!

Been using for years - this year, I signed in to enter my product key and start using the software, which I purchased, Nowhere to enter the number, but jumped right in to tax preparation - I went thru all of the online screens, entered the info and then find out that it was a complete wsste of time, as it was done online and NOT with the software on my desktop - so I restarted to while process - got the prompt to enter my product ket and then proceeded to re-enter everything again. This time I get done, submit taxes, now it won’t print my returns out for my copies. I’ve even quit the software, restarted to computer, software, and it ‘processes your request taking 2.4 minutes’ and then just sits there. At least there’s a copy in my documents folder from me saving the file. No more!!! You want people to do they’re taxes online so bad, getting paid to steal everyone’s informatioin? ``

20024 Tax Year Changes

Been using it for many years. Very good quality software. Graphical changes made this year (e.g., 1099 income screen) took a little while to get accustomed to.
