Could be a lot better. Search menu is useless

Product is a lot worse than 2023. The search menu is completely useless, where your digital assistant is a joke. Without ChapGPT to help, I don't think I would have been able to fill out all the 1031 like-kind exchange 8824 form

Easy Amended Return

I had to amend my returns and was so worried it will be a huge hassle as IRS letter I received stated I needed to mail and could not E-file. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to amend with Turbo tax.

CAN NOT GET TT TO PRINT OR SAVE TO PDF!
Turbo Tax will not print or save to pdf! The printer and computer are normal. Will print everything else.

Eager to begin my Tax return

I have been using TurboTax since the DOS days with ChipSoft. While the EasyStep has been thorough and intuitive in years past, It seems that this year the EasyStep went off the rails a number of times requiring me to visit specific forms. In your defense, I don't wait for all of my information to become available (late February) before starting TurboTax. I will begin inserting W-2s as soon as I have them. This often means that I need to jump around in the Topic List. At the end of January, when all forms SHOULD be available, I go back to the beginning of EasyStep to fill out whatever I've missed. TurboTax failed to automatically maintain a couple of forms at the latest data even as I re-saved the file after entries.

New Brokerage interface stinks

The import from Schwab didn't work well at all this year. Some parts clearly failed, but worse other parts appeared to work but worked incorrectly. Then, the new interface for interest, dividends and stock/bond brokerage sales is HORRIBLE. If I had not already tediously entered all my manual info first I would have switched to different tax software this year.
