A little confusing

Software told me I had one state return free. The second state return stated $25. Then I see that for NYS once we pay for software there is no charge to file the state. It was very confusing.
I could not get the font to increase on the software on my hp laptop. I enlarged in my laptop settings but did nothing to turbo tax. Print was extremely tiny!

TurboTax quality control needs an upgrade

This is the most error-prone version of TurboTax that I've used in the past thirty years. Financial institution 100DIV and 1099B imports were problematic and required more manual typing of numbers than I can remember. Once my tax form was completed, and I wanted to print a copy for my records, TurboTax would not send a copy to my printer. At first I thought my printer had the problem, but other Mac users reported the same issue with this version of TurboTax, and my printer worked as expected for everything else.

TurboTax 2024

Turbotax desktop is great for those with more complicated tax situations and I have no complaints about the software itself. However, I've had issues in the past with the way questions are worded in step-by-step mode. In prior years, answering the questions the way they were worded initially caused us to be charge extra taxes due to miscalculations of military pay. This year, the phrasing implied that I should be penalized on Roth IRA contribution withdrawals because it asked for net contributions remaining.

Your product is not built to make this easier for a 78 Senior who lost his wife of 55 tears in 2024. Next year I have to look elsewhere. Just look at this page and the limitation on a nickname which i didn't have.
