I've used TurboTax for decades, but am becoming disaffected. My TurboTax file from last year was deleted by a program update, and as a result I had to start from scratch this year. The program itself is in need of an overall updating and modernizing, as it uses the same dated format and has the same shortcomings that it has had for many years. I consider TurboTax on probation, though I expect I am one of its most long term customers.

Better Than Using Paper and a Calculator

Entry process is repetitive. Program should be able to recognize when entries have already been made.
Continued error that I can only have direct debit if I am e-filing. I AM E-FILING! But the error will not go away. Still don't know how I'm going to get past this. Similar weird errors pop up with regularity that are very difficult to figure out. It's March 1 and I'm ready to file - but error message prevent submission even though it is the program that is the problem.
