First Experience was Very Postive

This was my first time. I struggled with some of the abbreviations used. I would suggest you provide a glossary and make every abbreviation a hot link to that glossary for easy reference.
There were some choice questions that you cannot go back and change. Or at least, I could not find a way to go back and change them. One was did I live in my county for the full year. Another was do I want my penalty included in the total I owe to the IRS.

The Good and the Bad

Tax prep software is fairly robust and saves a lot of time with importing of key documents and carry-over of data from year to year. While the software doesn't always clearly guide filers on how to address many less common tax situations, the forums generally cover everything pretty well.
Areas for improvement: There seems to be some significant delays between when I receive e-copies/mailed copies of tax documents and when they are available for import through the software...in some cases more than 3 weeks. Not sure if this is an issue on the Intuit side or the financial firm's side, but it is irritating...especially when the available date keeps changing/slipping out.

TurboTax is no longer EASY.

The program will not print tax forms and 'just runs you in circles. I don't trust it to e-file iff it won't even print a paper copy. I have used TurboTax for over 10 Years. But they have complicated it to the point that I am finished with them.

Update Download Delayed Filing my Returns.

I have used Turbo Tax to file my Federal and State returns for over 15 years. This was the first year I have ever had a problem, when an update failed to load successfully multiple times. I had to resort to a manual update download to successfully update the Turbo Tax 2024 Premier program. Fortunately, the manual download was eventually successful and I was able to file my returns. I'm not especially happy about the anxiety caused by this issue - nor sure whether the issue with download was a faulty download file from Intuit/Turbo Tax or a problem with my computer.

Just fair for 2024

Seemed very glitchy this year. I was not able to import any information from my financial institutions and it would take me backwards rather than immediately letting me enter it manually. There was also a problem with the state tax withheld box 16 State distribution. There was nothing listed on my 1099 but I had to enter an amount to proceed. Kept getting an error message
