Good bye to Turbo Tax

The last 3 years I feel that Turbo tax has declined. This year is going to be my final year using you as I am opting to change to someone else. Why do you ask me if I want to file a state return when my state has no income tax? There have been other issues that make using this program more work than it's worth. I started using Turbo tax when it first became available, sad to say good bye.

i did engage a Turbo tax Rep case number 1539735900 as the Support ID. I had started to enter Medical expenses a previous day & could not enter any more. It kept advising I was getting the Standard Deduction. Rep advised I go to Forms and enter info which I did but I would have preferred to do it in the usual manner w/o using Forms as it would have been easier . Using Forms are sometimes confusing.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years. Overall a good experience. One thing I wish they had handled better was when the stopped offering a physical TT CD disk, only option is to download. A download is fine. However, when I inserted a prior years Turbo Tax CD disk, they go through your ususal process of checking update and the update they install make the prior years TT CD disk not usuable to open the prior year tax files. Now I can't access my prior years TT files. I dislike this TT decision.

I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 10 years, I believe it's a great product (have not use anything else) but it believe it can be better, e.g. the information transferred from prior year it's not always correct, when it comes to healthcare it always asks for a 1095A even though I don't have one but I have a 1095B

Works Just Fine Every Year

I've used TT for several years now and only used a competitor's software last year (I switched back to TT). It's intuitive and easy to navigate and if I had questions about a topic - I just searched online and the TT answer link came up quickly (and gave me the info I needed).

Still Very Good

Calculations accurate and pages are easy to understand. However, this year the deductions and credits section was glitchy and required reloading several times.
