Turbo Tax Nickel?Dimes you on the state returns

Your program was obviously not fully developed when I purchased it, specifically relating to reporting of Required Minimum Distributions. It was not until several updates later that it worked coherently. I can see the need for updates to accommodate IRS changes, but clearly the product was not ready for use when I downloaded it in January. This caused me a lot of time, trying to figure out method of entry. I never had such problems reporting RMD income in previous years.

Even though I am an "Advantage" member, I was charged $25 for my state return rather than $20 as advertised. Otherwise, all else was fine and as expected.

Not good this year for retired people with IRA's

No good this year. 1099-R's were too complicated and line 16 had no information on the institutions form but your program required this information.

Why was I charged to receive a refund?
Error with product, opened up my completed return, filed and accepted return filed and accepted by the IRS. There were no errors using your error review process. Since my filing, you added form 5329, failed to pick up the amount withdrawn from the IRA as satisfying the RMD for 2024. This changed my refund due of $4K plus to a tax due of $5,112. Other income errors show resulting from changes to your product on 1099R's. Again, these were entered properly and passed your error check. These items don't change year to year, yet you can't get them right?

Turbo tax is easy to complete and file

Agents by phone were very helpful. Turbo has options to select different software versions and Premium is better as the audit is free along with free filing of Federal taxes.

TurboTax Use To Be Flawless

We were not able to complete filing of our Oklahoma state return by mail. It appears the only option/link is to e-file our state return. Filing the state return becomes a closed-loop with e-filing the only option. As a result we get no paper mailing instructions, etc.
We were able to print our return and have mailed it to the state. Family members in another state, also using TurboTax, have the same problem above.
