think twice before buying

Madding to make payments and move ahead.

Madding. You need to fire the payment software provider.
I wasted hours just trying to pay to download. Days later, it finally permitted entering the expiring month of my credit card. Then the actual software worked OK. To file state, it costs extra. Whatever. But the payment page was oversized on Windows Microsoft browser. I could not pay the $25. I saw this has been a problem for others for years. I tried for days. Finally it worked. It said I could file federal and delay state, so that is what I did. Now, it says I can't file state. Madding.

RMD nightmare

The program did not handle multiple custodian's RMDs (1099R) correctly. With the help of Turbo Tax reps.
we were able to file an amended return to correct the error and file for the balance of the refund due. I did not sign up for the paid tech assistance but still got the help I needed! This is the first time I have had an issue with a return. I did have to save the amended return and oddly it was difficult to find as it was not included in my 2024 Turbo Tax file

Problems never fixed

OID summary screen is never correct. US Government interest from 1099-DIVs is not prompted, have to go all the way back and enter from scratch. Too many TurboTax sales pitches. State tax filing should be included.
