The tax information form for New York state ID information did not allow NYC ID as a choice, when Driver License and state ID not available, thus giving some difficulty to file electronically.

Been using it personally for 15-20 years and now for grandkids. Has gotten better over the years. Electronic filing is great as grandkids always get refunds and it is amazing how quickly the refunds appear in their checking accounts.

Better guidance required

Never know whether filing is correct. Sure the calculations are correct but the information on which it is based is often opaque.
