Turbo Tax Premier Works With Some Quirks

Turbo Tax is easy to use, yet when they change the format of the questions and entering information can be difficult to follow. When importing from other financial companies, TT doesn't always transfer all the information that is required. Entering the information on a new MAC Book Air was difficult. lThe only way was to open up the form and enter it there. It would no let me edit the information. I tried to find an answer on the TT site no luck. After thinking about it I thought for a bit the FORMS link enabled me to enter the correct information.
? Does anyone else have difficulty with the small font that is used for TT on a the MAC? There is absolutely no way to increase the size of the page or font.
I also don't like how they constantly bother you to purchase add on protection... DON'T do it! it's not necessary

EVERY YEAR YOU TRY TO MAKE THIS PROGRAM FANCY WITH LITTLE PICTURES AND SPECIAL BLOCKS.
THIS IS A TAX PROGRAM, MAKE IT STRAIGHT FORWARD AND NOT CUTSIE IE 1099 INT
WHY DONT YOU REMEBER BUSINESS NAMES, ADDRESS, CODES, I HAVE TO TYPE THEM IN EVERY YEAR.

TurboTax got my money again this year!

This sure beats filling out the tax forms by hand! The step by step instructions make sure you have all the proper forms, and it populates each line for you automatically. I like doing my taxes myself, I feel like it gives me a sense of control that I'm not willing to give up by hiring an accountant, but I like having the automated system check my math and make sure I'm not skipping any steps.
There are other companies that will provide a nice interface for you to fill in your tax information, but each year I stick with the TurboTax desktop version because of the user interface, local to my PC file (I use the desktop version instead of the cloud version) and excellent customer support when I need it.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax need a "guide for dummies"

There needs to be a sheet that states all info and the ORDER that will be requested when doing the taxes. Takes too long to complete taxes!!!!!!

The question concerning a very large ROTH distribution, I think would be more clear if the question was worded differently. I got the same results whether I answered yes or no.
"Did you take a Roth distribution during the previous 4 years AND contributed to a Roth IRA during the previous 4 years?"

Great Product

This is my fifth year with Turbotax. Very happy with the program. I like that i can walk thru everything, with explanations and education along the way. Feel very comfortable that my taxes are done correctly and complete, with no "stones" unturned.
