Turbo Tax is a great product

Olga helped us walk through the return and was very helpful to us. The software was a bit confusing on some sections and Olga made sure everything was accurate. She was great.

I've used it for years and generally like it. However, there are always quirks. One is that during review you have to enter additional information that the walk through should have asked you in the first place. Some of the questions are not as clear as they should be. Even if you review "learn more" you're still scratching your head for some of the questions. Going back can be clunky or slow. I need to amend, supplement, and jump around, and the process is not as easy or as quick as I would like.

TurboTax Over the Years

Continues to be a reliable and relatively efficient way to do my taxes. There are flaw and drawbacks however that seem to persist year to year for multi-state filing. A known and acknowledged flaw is that the Hawaii electronic form double counts the W-2 income from an another state (in my case, from a NY employer). The result is an HI AGI that is impossibly HIGHER than the Federal AGI. At the suggestion (4 years ago) of TurboTax's product support associates, I needed to switch from the Online to Desktop version in order to override the obvious and error that is clearly being undetected in Review algorithm which inexplicable says 'Everything looks good!' Annually, I end up trying to e-file Hawaii, paying for the filing fee, only to have the software tell me I can't e-file until I remove the over-ride or otherwise change the filing method to mail. After so many years, you would think this would be fixed.....

Very easy to follow except when correcting errors at the end. Please include a more detailed explanation on how to correct an error, not just pointing where the error is. For example, direct the user to the specific step and form where the error is to be corrected and how to correct it. Thanks
