Turbo Tax, better than filling forms by hand!

Turbo Tax is relatively easy to use. The pop up screens with supporting information and advice are very helpful. One inconsistency I've noticed, when you run "Check for Errors" the system does not always report the same errors if you fix nothing, or creates more errors after you fix what the system said was wrong.
Also, if you want to go back into (and EDIT) an item, even if you say you will choose what to work on, the program goes through asking you questions you have already answered the first time through.

First Time User - Great Experience

I've used H&R desktop software for decades. My state taxes always had to be filed on paper due to certain state credits not supported by their software. Complete pain in the behind. This was the first year I broke tradition and went with Turbo Tax instead. I was able to file both Federal & State together electronically. What a relief! Overall, the software is very informative and easy to use. Great import functionality with all major institutions available for electronic import. I will not be switching back to H&R desktop anytime soon, and I highly recommend this software for anyone on the fence in their software decisions.

Helpful, but less reliable than in the past

More problems this year with printing and importing than ever in my 20 years of use. Does the simple stuff, but makes you fill out complicated worksheets manually which somewhat defeats the purpose.
