TT is pretty good except excessive fees

Mostly, I'm very satisfied with Turbo Tax (TT) until I filed today; while I can understand a processing fee to use my federal return to pay my state tax, nowhere, until I'm 3/4 the way through the process did it say the "fee" to process, again, a processing fee, would be double that - i.e., 2 processing fees of $20 and then $40. I find that a little excessive when I paid my yearly fee for the TT software, and generally have done so for more than 12 years. You need to review this process as it may deter me from using TT in future.

straight forward process, simplified & without logic gaps creating questions about what to do. There was an item about filing a state tax but it had been established that a state tax was not required..

You have some functionality that did not enhance my user friendliness. Better last year and why have ES forms print DO NOT FILE across them? Should be able to print screens that you want to save that are not a form.

Turbo Tax is a good product. However, this year printing was more difficult because every time I tried to print a form, two boxes showed up in front of the form that I had to erase first. Very annoying. Also, I found it difficult to navigate back to the section I was working on when I switched from forms to step by step. And sometimes if I inserted the wrong number, I couldn't get back to that part of the questioning. It was a struggle this year.

Turbo Tax fee does not go up with inflation!!

As usual, you're doing a good job with your software. Considering the inflation, you keep your fee the same for the state filing fee. I however have a technical recommendation as follows: 1) Easystep should ask user if you have received form 1095A instead of burying it under Medical Expense.
