Beats having an accountant!

Been using TurboTax for years. Never had any issues with my fairly complicated return, and have found credits that I would've missed doing it on my own. Very complete and makes filing a snap. Got my refund last year in less than 2 weeks.

Turbotax is good but it needs some work.

As a general rule it is good. It needs some work. As an example, It ask for a 1095 A Except that all I got was a 1095 B and probably all other Veterans got the same. The program never addressed what to do with it. I finally ended up Googling it to find out what to do with it. This needs to be spelled out in the program, simply. We are not all accountants and Lawyers.

Interview format is very helpful

Experience with the product was good this year compared to some earlier years where it was difficult to find the downloadable version. Having my spouse entering retirement last year, the step-wise interview type structure for going through the tax situations again was helpful. Would recommend this product as long as it is a downloadable version.
