TurboTax is ALMOST great.

Overall, it's a marvelous product. I have two specific complaints. First, the State filing is supposed to be $20 because I use TurboTax Advantage. I was charged the regular $25 fee. Second, AFTER I pushed the file button, I was notified that "You're not finished until you MAIL the IRS another form." The form that prints out says no mailing is required if another form is filed electronically. The other form is part of my electronic filing. I DO NOT LIKE SURPRISES.

Best Tax software hands down again!

Again, for the 15th straight year "I love TurboTax" it's easy to use , helpful, up to date with current regulations, secure, accurate, and FAST!
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Easy Does It

This is my umteenth time filing with Turbo Tax. It's so convenient for me to sit at the dining room table and work on it until I need a break and come back the next day to finish. My tax situation doesn't change a lot from year to year. So you get to know what to expect, what to have handy for the numbers, etc. TurboTax does all the work in the background if the tax laws have changed. I trust them completely.

Purchased premier download. unable to due to outdated imac. called cs and lady resolved and issued refund request. updated imdc and purchased download and finished my taxes, very satisfied with response and action taken by lady in customer service

Frustrating experience this time with Turbo Tax

Frustated on several fronts.
RMD calculation after every IRA distribution is misleading and difficult to work around This took me hours to resolve.
No ability to fix spelling errors on names of financial institutions without deleting everything and having to start over
I have used TurboTax exclusively for many years with minimal problems. This year was disappointing and frustrating. Though I was finally able to complete my taxes and file, the process did not run smoothly as in the past. See the list below:
Difficulty getting updates to Mac software when not using online system resulting in inability to file in a timely manner. Had to search online to find the right answer
Unable to go backwards from some pages, resulting in starting at the beginning again
It's Deductible screen so small that full listing item not visible and when selected an item, sometimes to took and sometimes it did not.
System was unbelievably slow
When using print function, TurboTax does not communicate with my wireless printer. Have no idea where it is printing.

Significant increase in price to purchase Turbo Tax, and increase in filing State, which I feel should be included!
