TurboTax makes filing returns easy peasy!

TurboTax Premier Software Not Very Good

I purchased the higher premier level software product because I thought it would help with my excess FICA refund, but it did not address this item properly so I had to do several hours of research to figure out how to file this and eventually was able to find the forms link on the software and added Sch. 3 to claim the refund. In the past I found TurboTax software easy to use and understand. However, over the years I found that TurboTax software isn't as user friendly and accurate in capturing all tax situations even at the higher premier level.

Product is very good but some topics are confusing (handling of annuity payments on form 8606, how adding of tax-exempt dividends to CA return are reported to state).

Excellent, have been using Turbotax for many years.
The only glitch this year was trying to pay for the audit defense; that page was not user friendly.

Software is great , but would suggest you make the foreign tax worksheet ( specifically when you have multiple countries to report) so you can report all on one page so you can view all in one spot
