Excellent but Foreign Tax Credit needs work

Everything worked great except the Foreign Tax Payment/Credit on my taxable IRA. Even though every thing was provided by my Schwab Composite Summary, Turbo Tax failed to download or recognize the countries and divends spent in each country. As a result I had to enter all the entries manually.

Wonky trash can when deleting duplicate records.

Used TurboTax since it's beginning. Always worked flawlessly. This time in Mac edition, was very difficult to delete extra forms (1099 DIV and INT). Had to go back and forth from actual forms to the new screen for Easy Steps. When clicking on the trash can, the delete box would not appear.

Poor UI and Statements won't import.

Numerous issues withe desktop version
1. The e-trade statements didn't import correctly and was not able to make a change as it was erroring out. Had to enter manually
2. Robinhood didn't import and had to enter manually. The reason for error was not shown. Once the account number and document id was entered and continue button was tapped, nothing happened.
3. No option to import Webull
4. Very poor UI compared to the online version

Solid, but more annoying features every year

Turbo Tax is a solid program, but every new edition comes with annoying new features. This year it has a frustrating and unnerving software licensing agreement, AND, a very pushy upsell scheme that requires you to say NO to additional products and services no less than 5 times from the initial logon to having the taxes filed and archived. If next year is like this edition, I am going to switch to your main competitor.

FAILURE TO PRINT

Horrible glitch will not allow easy printing. Even AI could not provide a easy solution. Nothing. How could something as simple as PRINT A COPY FOR YOUR RECORDS fail? And I purchased "Premier" version.

I like that it retains the prior year to automatically load the basic information and offers a comparison to the previous year's figures and individual items.

Good program, caution downloading TreasuryD1099's

when downloading Treasury Direct 1099's TurboTax only picked up the first page rather than the summary page with totals. This required me to go back and manually adjust. Otherwise I would have under reported income.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
