Very poor software. Always suggesting upgrades in lieu of answering basic questions. Cannot find forms easily as previously, just all around, VERY POOR for users.

Rough start, but good once I got going

Once I got into actually filing the return, things went great. Getting there was overly difficult. My gripes:
1. I go to create an Intuit account and am redirected to create a Credit Karma account. Feels scammy!
2. Constantly being pushed to the online version over the desktop.
3. Opening a prior year .pdf from TaxAct on desktop version Mac resulted in an unhelpful "boop" noise from the speaker and nothing happening. Some weird bug where you need to go to File --> New Tax Return, then try the import again to get it to work. Needed an AI to find the solution on TurboTax's forum.
4. Be sure to put dashes in your social security number or your W2 import won't work!
5. It could have imported more things from my prior year return (carryover history), but that's a small nitpick.
6. This review input box constantly altering what I am typing.

Auto-populate feature

This was the first year I could not use the 'Import' feature to populate the 1099 forms. I saw after the fact they were downloaded but it did not populate or give any instruction. W2 worked fine from ADP.
