TurboTax has gone backwards for tax year 2025

I have used TurboTax for nearly 20 years. The product for tax year 2025 made several changes that took the product backwards related to features, functionality and included content. I ended up having to upgrade to a different tier of the product for this tax year even though the forms I needed did not change from tax year.2024.

Interacting with Schwab documents has issues

You have a problem with the Charles Schwab import process, If I import a specific document from Schwab, existing Schwab documents were deleted. When I was forced to upgrade to Premier and reimport documents, documents were duplicated. There was no simple way to review the documents without walking through several screens of questions. Trying to make sense of this required two support calls and cost me over two hours of time on an otherwise straightforward return.

I had a lot of trouble with Turbo Tax this yeare

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. Ths was the first time that I encountered many, many problems. I ended up holding for up top 30 minutes on 5 different occasions in order to complete my income tax returns this year. I think that next year, I'll be looking for another product to help with taxes.
