Foreign Tax Credit software issues

The walk through instructions for Foreign Tax Credit need some work. I needed to enter information for 3 different investment accounts and had 3 different foreign sources (RIC, Ireland and Canada). I could enter 2 sources OK, but the third source did not allow me to select the proper matching account in which I paid the taxes. I recommend that the software allow option to select any of the accounts and not limit the selection. I had to go to individual form 1116 and manually enter the correct information.

Turbo Tax- Tax filing done easy!

Generally straight forward although on occasion I did need to cross check versus home records. No issue with downloading o my PC or retrieving prior years return. Chat wa sometimes helpful although at times ddi need to go to the internet to reconfirm certain items. Seemed to work intuitively.

Long time TurboTax customer - always find the tool very easy to follow - interfaces/downloads with financial accounts compatible thus very accurate and time saving for me - particularly like the structure of TurboTax such that I am able to walk through each section, add to, edit, pause, and return at my own pace. Support for audit protecton function is a nice add-on although I have never needed it thus far.

Best deal for multifple returns

It concerns me if AI is telling me everything I need to know to do the taxes accurately. I depend on the pop up windows to make sure I fully understand the information.

TurboTax is OK

Overall, TurboTax worked OK.
1. I don't feel it is as intuitive as it used to be when I first used it years ago.
2. Some of the wording is confusing.
3. When you complete a task, it takes you back to the main page. You're then forced to scroll down to the next task.
4. Your search box does not function properly. I tried using it to get back to "Estimated taxes paid", and it just kept giving me options other than what I needed.
5. Quit pushing me to buy the on-line version. Every time I logged back into the desktop version I was using, your ad promoting the on-line version pops up.
Also: You need to tell people to use Chrome. I was using Edge during my initial sign-in, and it would not let me perform 2-step authentication, I had to call your support line. I waited 20 minutes for help. Tiara helped me and she did an excellent job; she was very friendly and courteous. We did a screen share, and she guided me through the process. I could have avoided all this if I knew Chrome was required.

TurboTax Reduces Tax Stress

Working with TurboTax takes the stress out of filing taxes. It is easy to follow and has help screens when you need extra information. I know they also offer live support and that gives the user another level of confidence when using the software. The ability to upload tax documents keeps records accurate and saves the user time too. This year I was able to scan W2s which worked out very well.
