Turbo Tax is convenient

This is the first time we use Turbo Tax. It is a little complicated at the beginning, but we will definitely continue using it. I think they just need to be clearer with the instructions for beginners.

RMD Issue

Normally a 5, this time a 4. I had two 1099R. One of them is a pension and RMD does not apply. The other one needs to answer the questions about RMD. When I was entering the first one, I inadvertently stated that it had an RMD of "X". When I was entering the second one, I realized my mistake and went back to the first one and changed the RMD answers. However, TurboTax retained my original answer, and I was only able to correct it by going into the Forms section and hard-coding the correct number.

Best Tax Program

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2009. It has been the best program, great helps and instructions. I have never had an issue or problem with any of my returns.

PDF copies not available

Very disappointed that this year there was no way to save pdf copies of state and federal returns ready for filing, or to save pdf copies of the full return with all worksheets for my records.

Missing some key instructions!

I miss the following instructions from last year: 1) Turbotax for 2023, for Ohio State taxes, flagged my eligibility for the Federal Civil Service Pension Deduction and instructed me on how to enter the information needed. 2) I want to file my taxes for Ohio by mail. Turbotax provided no instructions on how to do this, like which forms are needed, and how to print only those forms.
