Turbo Tax calculated a federal penalty that was not correct. I had to override it manually.

I have always loved TurboTax and have never had an issue until this year. For some reason it did not update my TurboTax when I opened it to do my taxes. For this reason, it got stuck on transmitting my returns. TurboTax wanted to charge me a fee to help with this issue. I finally just shut down my computer and when it came backup, it finally update my TurboTax and let me transmit my return. Other than that, Love It!

I have been using this product for years. I like the fact that it guides you through the current year reminding you of previous data. Not sure I like the current interface. I hate the fact that Its Deductible is gone. Need to let me e-file 1 state tax as well.

I really like Turbo Tax, but I found this new version a little unfriendly to use. It could be it was just that much different from the old version that I wasn't used to it but I didn't feel the information and follow through was presented as clearly in the past versions.

I take my IRA distribution at the end of the year and pay the estimated taxes then.
Turbotax assessed me a tax penalty even though the relevant timing information was visible to it.
I had to manually go through the tedious process of entering my quarterly data.
That is unacceptable in a supposed Premier tax version.

Turbo Tax is great to use

I have used Turbo Tax for quite a few years now and it is always a user friendly tool to navigate. There were a few changes to the initial input sections but facilitated input easily.
