Software glitches

it is great software, but this year this software is not user friendly, and it has glitches for duplicating data and i had to call for help.

Fairly easy to use as I have many years experience using Turbo Tax. Capital gains on timber needs to be added.

In general my experiences with turbo tax has been excellent. I although would like to note a couple of areas which need to be looked at.
1. I normally import my financial information into my taxes. I although found that when I reviewed some of the items in my form, I was directed to re-import. This was confusing as I had already imported my data assumed that the prior import was accurate. It brings a level of mistrust in the data.
2. I am a Washington State resident. I made money in Idaho. I know that I was not going to have to pay taxes in Washington. I therefore added Idaho to my tax form. Upon the filing of my taxes, I was charged to file my taxes for Idaho. Since I was not required to file a return for Washington State, I should not have been charged for filing my Idaho taxes. This needs attention.

No CD, Lots of issues

Did not care for the online download. Previously I used a CD for many years and never had problems. Took several attempts to get it downloaded. Then it was not able to import my documents from Ameriprise. System would say it had the information but when I proceeded I always got an error message so I had to manually enter all the info, taking hours longer than previous versions.

Reliable tax submission option, albeit not cheap

I like TurboTax's check in the end. I don't like that it does not make it easy to transition to another tax prep provider for the following year - when a less costly option becomes available. I

Love Turbo Tax

I'm a retired CPA 25 for years. I could not reconcile the Michigan taxable income, so I took your word for it. Love Turbo Tax and having been using it for over 30 years.
